Accounting Supervisor / AP Supervisor Location: St. Paul, MN (Onsite) Compensation: $70,000 to $85,000 base salary A growing, multi-location commercial services company is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Accountant / Staff Accountant to join its finance team. This full-time, onsite role is based in St. Paul, MN and offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact within a dynamic and expanding organization. This position will manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, maintain vendor records, and support broader finance initiatives. AP Accountant / Staff Accountant Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable Operations Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, including invoice coding, data entry, and ensuring proper approvals Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or claims Administer the corporate credit card and employee expense platforms Assist with month-end close activities and general ledger reconciliations Prepare and file 1099 forms Vendor Account Management Maintain and update the vendor master file, including W-9s, certificates of insurance, and contact information Respond to vendor inquiries and manage administrative documentation requests Treasury Support Partner with the Controller on managing disbursements and supporting cash flow management Audit and Compliance Provide support for external audits by ensuring documentation is accurate and accessible Help maintain and implement internal controls related to accounts payable and vendor management Process Improvement Identify and implement opportunities to improve the efficiency of AP processes Document standard operating procedures to ensure process consistency Team Collaboration Participate in cross-training with other finance team members to support functional versatility Support accounting and finance initiatives as needed Accounting Supervisor / AP Supervisor Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience Strong organizational and communication skills High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems Experience with vendor and expense management platforms is preferred Prior experience in a multi-entity or multi-location environment is a plus What This Role Offers The chance to join a fast-growing, private equity-backed company with a national footprint A collaborative team environment that values initiative and continuous improvement Competitive compensation and benefits package Clear visibility across the organization and room for career advancement accountspayable accountspayableaccountant generalaccountant staffaccountant accountspayablecoordinator accountspayablesupervisor accountingsupervisor generalaccounting LI-PS1 LI-Hybrid
