School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. A school district in
Saint Paul, MN is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to support
elementary students in grades K-5. This contract position runs from
March 26, 2026, through June 12, 2026, providing an opportunity to
make a positive impact on young learners' social and emotional
well-being during the school years critical final months.
Responsibilities: - Provide individual and group counseling to
elementary students to address behavioral, emotional, and social
challenges. - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff
to develop intervention plans and support student success. -
Conduct assessments to determine student needs and connect families
with appropriate community resources. - Offer crisis intervention
and advocacy to ensure student safety and well-being within the
school environment. - Maintain accurate documentation and comply
with district policies and confidentiality regulations.
Qualifications: - Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) is required.
- Valid Tier 3 or 4 Social Work license for Minnesota. - Experience
working with elementary-aged children (grades K-5). - Strong
interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to work
effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team within a school
setting. Location: Saint Paul, Minnesota This position offers
hourly compensation ranging from $38.76 to $41.23 and provides
meaningful direct service support to students in an educational
