Volt is immediately hiring Lab Tech II with a well-known industry leader in Maplewood, MN.

In this role you will prepare, operate, and maintain laboratory equipment for testing.

As a Lab Tech III you will:
Support technical staff with product development and customer complaints by performing routine tests to determine specific characteristics of experimental materials.
Testing Properties of Tape, Film, Adhesives, and Other Materials.
Record Results and Assist with Data Analysis
Data Management
General Laboratory Upkeep and Supplies Maintenance

This is a first shift position.

Estimated Duration up to 24 months.

The ideal candidate will have:
BS Degree preferred and entry level experience. Or Associates with Or, 2+ years of laboratory experience
Knowledge and experience with general lab practices
Ability to understand and follow complex procedures
Competence with Microsoft Office tools
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ability to create/modify formulas and graphs
Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently

Pay Rate: $25.95 per hour
