Job Description:

ROASTING OPERATOR- 1st Shift (6:00am-2:00pm)This position will meet Wholesale roasted coffee needs by working closely with Green Coffee and Production staff on a daily basis. This is a full-time position, working five days per week. RESPONSIBILITIESThe Roaster will be responsible for:

• Fulfillment of daily coffee orders.
• Perform routine roaster cleaning and maintenance
• Assist with green coffee; inventory and floor counts, receiving, organizing and moving product; weighing and portioning for recipes
• General organization of the roastery; cleaning and other duties as needed
• Develop an understanding for Profile Roasting
• Other duties as assignedEXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Roasting experience preferred, but not mandatory
  • Previous manufacturing experience
  • Experience with ERP or WMSSKILLS NEEDED
    • Proficiency in both spoken and written English.
    • Basic math skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills.
    • Ability to lift, push, pull, and or manipulate 125+ lbs. USE OF POWERED INDUSTRIAL TRUCK (PIT) VEHICLESEmployees in this role utilize PIT vehicles in their day-to-day activity to safely transport loads up to 2000 lbs. within the factory and/or warehouse environment. Certification to each vehicle type is required as outlined in the Cameron's Coffee Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Safety Program. The following PIT vehicle certifications are required for this role:
      • Sit-down Forklift
      • Electric Pallet Jack
      • Genie Scissor Lift
      • Floor Scrubber
