Description: This position is for a high-risk Labor and Delivery
Registered Nurse. The shift is nights, from 7 PM to 7 AM. The nurse
will work with a patient ratio of 1:1. First-timers are accepted
for this position. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend.
The following skills and experience are required: - Experience with
cerclage placement and removal - Ability to assist with postpartum
tubal ligations - Experience with water births - Familiarity with
advanced obstetric procedures The nurse will float to the
postpartum unit when necessary. Candidates should be comfortable
providing care for high-risk labor and delivery patients. Strong
competencies in EPIC charting are essential. We are looking for
someone with solid assessment skills in both mother and newborn
care. An understanding of high-risk conditions and their management
is crucial. The candidate must be able to perform labor
assessments, triage obstetrical patients, and recognize abnormal
fetal heart rate patterns. Candidates must be prepared for various
labor and delivery scenarios. Strong interpersonal skills and the
ability to work within a team are essential. This position may
require participation in emergency procedures as needed. Ideal
candidates will demonstrate a commitment to patient safety and
