meet the needs of individuals and families by providing support
services for people with developmental disabilities, Autism
Spectrum Disorder, brain injury, specialized medical needs,
physical health needs, and emotional or behavioral health needs.
Today, Hiawatha Homes supports approximately 72 individuals through
services that include support in nineteen residential-based homes,
respite care, family support services, and in-home support. We are

and provides nursing care and medical support to individuals
supported at Hiawatha Homes. The Nurse integrates health related
needs into the daily plans and activities of the individuals
supported. The Nurse delivers care to the individuals supported
through assessment, planning, intervention and implementation. The
Nurse effectively interacts and communicates with the individuals
supported, members of the interdisciplinary team, support staff,
House Coordinator(s) and Nursing Director. Job Information The

Base wages starting between $26-$27/hour, based on experience and

and culture Minimum Requirements - If You Love Working with People
and Handle Everyday Challenges With A Smile! Certified/registered
as a nursing assistant in the state of Minnesota. Demonstrate the
ability to speak, write, and comprehend the English language.
Possess a valid drivers license, satisfactory motor vehicle record
and successful completion of Hiawatha Homes driving test. Can work
with and support both male and female. Successfully complete the
Hiawatha Homes Medication Administration class. Be Cardiopulmonary
Resuscitation (CPR) trained. Be able to, upon hire, provide proof
of employment eligibility and proof of being free from
tuberculosis. Successfully pass a State of Minnesota background
check before working unsupervised. Preferred Experience Nursing
experience in the field of disabilities and previous leadership
