Providing occupational therapy services to students in a dynamic school setting offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on their educational experience. This position involves serving an elementary school community in Hopkins, MN, on a temporary contract basis to cover a maternity leave from January 5, 2026, through June 5, 2026. The role requires 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, supporting a caseload that spans kindergarten through 12th grade. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver onsite occupational therapy services tailored to the needs of students within the school environment. - Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support individualized education plans (IEPs). - Monitor and document student progress, adapting therapy plans as needed. - Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and strategies to support learning and development. Qualifications: - Current valid OT license. - Experience in providing occupational therapy in school settings, preferably with elementary-level students. - Strong organizational and communication skills. - Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work collaboratively with school staff.
