(LPN) Itinerant Role in K-12 School Setting This full-time contract
opportunity is for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) serving as a
float nurse across multiple locations within an established school
district in New Hope, MN. The position requires on-site presence
with no remote or voice-over coverage. The role supports the health
and wellness of K-12 students by providing nursing care and
collaborating with school staff to promote a safe and healthy
learning environment. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver direct
nursing care to students across various school sites within the
district - Monitor and manage student health plans, administer
medications, and coordinate with healthcare providers - Respond to
health emergencies and provide first aid as needed - Maintain
accurate health records and document nursing interventions in
compliance with district policies - Educate students and staff on
health practices and safety procedures - Serve as an essential
resource within the school community for health-related concerns
Qualifications and Desired Experience: - Current and valid Licensed
Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure
in the state - Previous experience working as an LPN, preferably in
a school or pediatric setting - Ability to work independently and
adapt within a dynamic school district float nurse role - Strong
communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate
with school staff, students, and families - Commitment to
maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional nursing
standards - No educator credentials required Location: - On-site,
itinerant across multiple school locations in New Hope, MN Contract
Duration: - Immediate start through June 3, 2026 - 35 hours per
