Job Title: Medical Technologist Profession: Laboratory Specialty: Medical Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 9.5 or 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Valid license required Certifications: ASCP, MLS or MLT Must-Have: - Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent - Military trained - Medical Lab Specialist certificate of training obtained prior to April 24, 1995 Description: MLT, Lab Tech, or Medical Technologist accepted for 7 on, 7 off night shift. Shift hours are 21:00 - 06:00 on weekdays and 18:00 - 06:00 on weekends. Previous experience of 1 year is required. First-time travelers are accepted. Candidates must have a valid state license. Candidates must float within the hospital as needed. Flu vaccine is required; medical or religious exemptions only. Compliance with credentialing application requirements is necessary promptly after signing. Failure to provide required documentation timely could result in a delayed start date. Background checks and specific requirements must be completed and uploaded within the required timeframe. References must be submitted, including one from a supervisor. AHA certifications must be completed prior to the start date. Candidates are expected to plan ahead to avoid conflicts with schedules.
