Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology /
Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience:
Minimum of 3 years required License: License in hand preferred
Certifications: BLS, CNMT Must-Have: - 3 years of experience in
nuclear medicine - Ability to work independently when needed -
Experience with GE equipment Description: This is a position for a
Nuclear Medicine Technologist. The shift is primarily from 8:00 AM
to 4:30 PM. If the other technologist is on PTO, shifts may shift
to 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. The average daily census is 5 patients.
First-time travelers will not be accepted. There are no weekend
requirements. This position does not require on-call duties. The
technologist will need to float within their scope of practice to
meet facility needs. The lab is busy and serves multiple cardiology
groups. It is essential for the candidate to have experience in
adult hospital nuclear cardiology. Knowledge of isolation
precautions and the handling of radioactive materials is required.
The working environment is within an acute care hospital setting.
The facility is a Magnet-designated facility with a total of 63
staffed beds. Charting is done via an electronic health record
system. Orientation is required for 8 hours, and this is
non-billable.
