Job Title: Medical Lab Technician Profession: Laboratory Specialty: Medical Lab Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 9.5 or 12 hours Experience: 1 year License: Valid state license required at time of submission Certifications: ASCP, MLS or MLT required Must-Have: Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent. Military-trained Medical Lab Specialist certificate obtained prior to April 24, 1995 accepted. First-time travelers accepted. Description: MLT, Lab Tech, or Medical Technologist accepted. Seven nights on, seven nights off schedule. Weekday shifts from 21:00 to 06:00 and weekends from 18:00 to 06:00. Must have one year of experience. Required certifications include ASCP, and either MLS or MLT. Candidates may float within the facility as needed. Vaccinations required include the flu vaccine, with medical or religious exemptions only. Compliance requirements include timely completion of credentialing applications and other prerequisites. References are required, including one from a supervisor. Modules must be completed during orientation without additional billing beyond permitted hours.
