Details: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Permanent 1st Class B Boiler Technician to join our dynamic team in
the Engineering industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to work
with a team of dedicated professionals and contribute to a company
committed to excellence and innovation. The successful candidate
will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our industrial
boilers, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently at all times.
This role requires a meticulous individual who can work under
pressure, has excellent problem-solving skills, and can effectively
communicate with team members and other departments.
Responsibilities: 1. Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and
repair of all boiler systems to ensure optimal operation and
compliance with safety regulations. 2. Maintain accurate regulatory
records regarding utility maintenance issues, documenting all
inspections, maintenance, and repairs. 3. Operate and monitor
boiler systems and related equipment to ensure consistent
operation, identifying and addressing any issues promptly. 4. Read
and document utility meters, including gas, sewer, electric, and
water, ensuring accurate records are kept for operational and
billing purposes. 5. Implement preventative maintenance systems
(PMS) and risk management plans (RMP) to minimize equipment
downtime and enhance operational efficiency. 6. Coordinate with
other team members and departments to ensure smooth operation and
maintenance of boiler systems. 7. Stay up-to-date with industry
standards and advancements, applying this knowledge to daily work
and long-term projects. 8. Adhere to all company policies and
procedures, as well as safety regulations, to ensure a safe and
productive work environment. Qualifications: 1. A minimum of 2-3
years of experience as a Boiler Technician or in a similar role
within the manufacturing industry. 2. A valid 1st Class B Boiler
Technician license. 3. Proven experience in maintaining and
repairing industrial boilers. 4. Extensive knowledge of hvac and
refrigeration systems and their implementation. 5. Experience in
reading and documenting utility meters, including gas, sewer,
electric, and water. 6. Excellent problem-solving skills with the
ability to troubleshoot and repair boiler system issues promptly
and effectively. 7. Strong communication skills, with the ability
to work effectively as part of a team and liaise with other
departments. 8. A strong commitment to safety, with knowledge of
relevant safety regulations and procedures. 9. Detail-oriented with
the ability to maintain accurate regulatory records. 10. Ability to
work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
