Job Description Job Description One Tech Engineering is
searching for an E&C Engineer for a position located in
Minneapolis, Minnesota. The E&C Engineer will provide
mechanical and electrical engineering support for natural gas and
thermal power generation projects. The candidate must be a US
citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have 8–10 years
of experience, preferably with power plant design, construction,
owner/operator, or EPC firms. E&C Engineer Responsibilities:
Oversee power plant design, construction activities, and
engineering deliverables. Review submittals, designs, and
construction documentation to ensure compliance with project
requirements and standards. Coordinate with internal engineering
teams, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical issues.
Support project planning, scheduling, and progress tracking to
ensure timely completion of engineering tasks. Ensure adherence to
safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout design and
construction phases. Participate in design reviews, field
inspections, and commissioning activities as needed. Requirements
of the E&C Engineer: 8–10 years of experience, preferably in
power plant design, construction, or with an owner/operator or EPC
firm. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
(ABET-accredited). Experience in power generation, particularly
combustion turbine plants. Professional Engineer (PE) license
preferred, but not required. Familiarity with construction
environments. Instrumentation and controls experience is a plus.
