Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This
full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position offers a
rewarding opportunity to support students from Pre-K through 5th
grade, with the potential to work with a broader Pre K-12 caseload.
Located in Burnsville, NC, this role involves working primarily at
one school site, with occasional visits to a local daycare center
to serve individual students. This travel opportunity allows you to
deliver critical speech and language services in both educational
and early childhood settings. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct
speech-language therapy to students aged Pre-K to 5th grade,
utilizing evidence-based practices Manage and maintain caseload
efficiently in a school environment, with occasional childcare
facility visits Ensure compliance with Medicaid billing procedures
and documentation standards Collaborate with educators, families,
and other professionals to support students communication goals
Deliver in-person therapy; virtual services are already covered and
not part of this role Work independently without supervision of CFs
or SLPAs Desired Experience and Qualifications: Certificate of
Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
Experience working in school settings with pediatric caseloads
Proficiency in Medicaid billing and understanding related
documentation Ability to adapt services to diverse student needs
across multiple settings Strong communication skills and
professionalism in all interactions Location: Burnsville, North
Carolina Travel required to one primary school site and occasional
daycare visits This position offers a full-time schedule (37.5
