Job Description Job Description Mankato Motor Co. is looking for our next Automotive Service Technician. This is an exciting opportunity in a growing, fast-paced industry. The Automotive Service Technician will be responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Flat rate wage depending on experience. Medical and Dental Insurance Health Savings Account Vision Insurance Life Insurance Short term disability insurance 401k plan with employer match Paid Training Paid time off Employee discounts on products and services Internal Growth Base salary commission Responsibilities Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications Qualifications ASE certifications are ideal Strong automotive background Strong teamwork skills Willing to submit to a background check Must have clean & valid driver's license About Us At Mankato Motor Co., part of the Rydell Automotive Group, we strive to make every customer a customer for life.
