What's in It for You: Competitive salary up to $175K, depending on experience Comprehensive health benefits and retirement plan with employer match Generous PTO and paid holidays Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance Professional development and mentorship opportunities Supportive team culture that values collaboration and innovation What You'll Do: Lead monthly and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting Review and prepare financial statements, address discrepancies, and ensure timely delivery to stakeholders Stay current on reporting regulations and maintain compliance with GAAP and other requirements Mentor and support a team of accounting professionals Oversee external audit preparation and tax filings (including 990s) Manage intercompany transactions and maintain internal controls Partner with teams on grants, foundations, and research-related financial reporting Drive improvements in financial systems and reporting processes What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA certification preferred Experience in financial reporting, accounting, or audit, including some leadership or supervisory responsibilities Strong understanding of GAAP and audit/tax compliance Ability to communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders and support strategic decisions LI-HK1 LI-Onsite
